About The Sons of Refaluwasch Collective
The Sons of Refaluwasch Collective, Inc. is a charitable and educational nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, revitalizing, and promoting the language, history, culture, traditions, and identity of the Refaluwasch people. Our mission is to ensure that future generations inherit a stronger cultural foundation through comprehensive education, documentation, community engagement, and cultural preservation initiatives. We serve Refaluwasch families, youth, elders, educators, researchers, and supporters in both the homeland and the diaspora.
What makes us unique is our commitment to combining traditional knowledge with modern tools and educational approaches. Through language revitalization initiatives, traditional performing arts, cultural workshops, leadership development, and historical preservation, we create opportunities for people of all ages to learn, participate, and connect with their heritage. We are building a lasting cultural institution that not only preserves the past but also inspires future generations to learn, teach, lead, and represent the Refaluwasch community with pride.
